Schedule of Rates-Fall Harvest of 2012
Scale Tickets:
Please make sure your ticket is marked properly for the following: Landlord, tenant, commodity, and how you want your grain applied (contract, price later, stored, or sold). All grains will be allowed a 7 day grace period from any storage or DP service charges from the day of delivery or charges will apply with no exceptions.
Storage Rates:
Corn: 23 cents minimum to 1-31-12, then (4 cents per month) until 8-31-12.
Soybeans: 25 cents minimum to 1-31-12, then (4.5 cents per month) until 8-31-12.
Price Later Service Charges (DP):
Corn: 10 cents minimum to 12- 31-12 then (3.0 cents per month) until 8-31-13.
Soybeans: 13 cents minimum to 12-31-12, then (3.0 cents per month) until 8-31-13.
Moisture:
Corn Sold: (Contracted and spotted)
Drying charge: 15% to 25% at .02 per ½ point
Shrink 1.4% per point of moisture to 15%
Stored Corn: (Open Storage & Price Later)
Drying charge: 14.5% to 25.0% at .02 per ½ point
Shrink 1.4% per point of moisture to 14.5%
Drying deducted from check
Soybeans: (Contracted, Stored, and DP)
Drying charged at .14 cents per ½ point from 13% to 15%
Loads 15.1 % or higher will be charged at .16 cents per ½ point

Other Discounts:
Corn
Aflatoxin: Acceptable from 0 to 20ppb, after 20ppb market discount will apply and/or subject to rejection
Foreign Material: 3.0% allowed – .01 cent each point 3.0% to 5.0% over 5% will be discounted at current market rate.
Damage: 5.0% allowed – .01 cent for each 1 point 5.0% to 7% over 7% will be discounted at current market rate.
Test Weight: 54 lbs. allowed – .01 cent each lb. to 52.0 lbs. under 52 lbs. will be discounted at current market rate.
Soybeans
Foreign Material: 1.0% allowed – above 1% is a direct weight deduction.
Damage: 2.0% allowed – .03 cents each 1 point above 2%.
Test Weight: 54.0 lbs. allowed – .01 cent each lb. to 52.0 lbs. under 52 lbs. will be discounted at current market rate.
